I was chatting with the Lord the other morning. Asking more questions then anything. I needed some perspective on a few things that were happening in my life and in the life of others. I took the time to listen….the Lord simply stated “if you can discipline yourself to accomplish things that benefit you, use that same discipline to do things for Me”. Then He reminded me that discipleship means discipline. One cannot be their own disciple. However, one can and does exercise discipline. It’s what’s driving the behavior that matters most. Look y’all, I’m totally in my feelings. This is not what I wanted to hear lol. I’m sharing this because I imagine someone else may need this as well.
