I have always been a dreamer, literally. In my younger years I would keep a journal. As I got older, I never really thought too much about putting the two together. It was not until late 2017 that I had started journaling my dreams and things that the Lord was revealing to me either by His word, through dreams and most recently through visions. The other night I had decided to review just a few journal entries from 2017. Boy am I glad that I did! The closing of 2018 brought me a lot of revelation and breakthroughs. There were many strongholds that have been broken off my life and I can finally say that I am walking in the victory my Lord and Savior has set before me.
In reviewing my journal entries from 2017, I had seen where God initially brought certain issues to the surface for me to deal with. Although I knew that I had needed deliverance in certain areas of my life, I did not realize that I had already prophesied my breakthrough. In reading the old journal entries I could see how God had begun to do a great work in me. Because of this tangible evidence I know have, I stand firm on the word given in Philippians 1:6 which tells us that “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”.
What was even more profound was a message that Pastor Michael Todd delivered the other day entitled Don’t Settle for the Replica[1], which is a part of his new series entitled Release. In part two of the series, he states that there is a release date attached to a vision. The exact date may not be revealed but just know that it is coming. Talk about a word right on time!
I say all that to say get with the Lord and do not be afraid to prophesy what He reveals to you through His Holy Spirit. We must be bold enough to prophesy our breakthrough. Bold enough to prophesy our healing and deliverance. Once it is released out into the atmosphere stand firm on the promises that the Lord gives us through His living Word.
For the Word of God tells us,
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me [avoid,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11
